The PTG is the Joe Henderson Parent Teacher Group, our equivalent of a PTA/PTO. We're made up of parents, teachers, caregivers, extended family members, mentors, and anyone else who is directly related to a Joe Henderson student. Anything we do is made possible by our wonderful school community.
We are dedicated to raising funds to provide students with exciting programs like the Art Docent Program and Recess Club and help support events like One School One Book and Kindness Week. We also provide teachers with classroom supplies, including paying for copy room paper each year for the entire school so our teachers don't have to!
The funds we raise help pay for field trips, assemblies, art supplies, library funds, playground equipment, campus improvement, teacher/staff requests, and community events like the Ice Cream Social and Joechella.

So far in the 2022-2023 school year, we've spent over $24,000 in campus beautification, $11,700 in teacher reimbursements, $5,600 in school enrichment programs and over $6,000 in school and community events.
